FAQ

Cabinets — common questions.

Don't see your question? Call us — happy to answer it in a sentence.

How long does cabinet refinishing take?

A typical kitchen is 5–7 working days. We pull doors and drawers on day one and spray them off-site for a factory-clean finish. Boxes get prepped and finished in place. Doors come back fully cured and we reinstall.

What product do you spray cabinets with?

Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel and Benjamin Moore Advance are our go-tos — both are waterborne alkyd hybrids that cure hard, hold up to daily use, and read as factory finish. We can spray oil-based for high-end specs.

Will the new finish hold up to daily use?

Yes — that's the whole point of the product spec. After 30 days of cure time, a properly applied urethane or alkyd hybrid cabinet finish takes wear as well or better than most factory finishes.
